Be a baby.

Remember that fixating on your liberation and making it a goal is also a problem. In fact, it is the problem: it circles back to your ego and your entitlement.

This is why Krishna points out the bhakti yoga in the Gita. Fixating on anything will make you a hostage to it, and the irony of this is even more apparent when you apply this to liberation. If you fixate on liberation, you will become a hostage to the idea of liberation, until you can see nothing else and the world turns into your mind whose walls are slowly closing in.

Hence, do not fixate. Instead, enjoy. Think of yourself as a baby happy and chuckling in his mother's arms. Think of yourself as a maiden sitting on her beloved's lap, her eyes heavy with bliss. Realise true enjoyment and joy through attention, connection, and emotion. A good exercise for you can be to sing. Sing happily as if Krishna was here with you and for you, as your mother or beloved or as anything else.

The form does not matter. What does matter is bhaav and ras. The flavour of your connection and the sensation of your devotion. Once you experience this then fixation will make you laugh and a heaviness will take over your eyes and your heart will feel itself develop a perpetual smile. As for the mind, it will be at peace.
